Job Description
Position: Full-Time Chef
Location: Studio Coffee, 20 Convention Centre Place, South Wharf, VIC 3006
Salary: $70,000 $80,000 + superannuation
About the Business
Studio Coffee is a vibrant all-day dining venue located in the heart of Melbourne’s South Wharf. Our premises are independent and separate from any shopping centre, and we are not a fast-food outlet, limited-service restaurant, or shopping-centre café. We offer a full table-service experience, supported by a curated food and beverage menu.
Our kitchen prepares dishes entirely from raw ingredients, with a focus on quality, presentation, and customisation to meet customer needs. Our dining concept supports a wide variety of patrons including business clients, event guests, and local food lovers who value flavour-forward, chef-led meals.

• Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen team members, including junior cooks and kitchen hands.
• Manage stock levels and ordering to ensure freshness, minimise waste, and maintain budget targets.
• Enforce food safety, hygiene, and occupational health standards, ensuring compliance with HACCP and council regulations.
