Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tool Maintenance and Setter to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, setting, and optimizing tooling equipment to ensure efficient production and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on tooling and machinery
Set up tools and equipment according to production specifications
Inspect and calibrate tools to ensure accuracy and performance
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement corrective actions
Collaborate with production teams to improve tooling efficiency
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and tool usage
Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards
Requirements
Proven experience in tool maintenance and setting within a manufacturing environment
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring instruments
Familiarity with spring manufacturing processes is an advantage
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Relevant technical qualification or trade certification preferred
