Diversity & Inclusion Manager for top tier law firm client. This role can be located in NYC or Washington, DC. This is a firm wide role and is responsible for managing implementation of diversity and inclusion initiatives/objectives. Candidate will serve as subject matter expert to several departments collaborating to produce inclusive talent/organizational development initiatives. This role has two direct reports.
Responsibilities: Implementing retention/advancement initiatives promoting inclusivity and career growth opportunities. Coaching/developing direct reports. Overseeing design/execution of diverse learning programs to foster inclusion. Collaborating with HR and Legal Talent to integrate inclusion principles into onboarding/evaluations/promotions/career development systems. Manager inclusive branding/communications, coordinating with Marketing/Business Development team. Leading client-facing initiatives, including RFPs and co-branded inclusion efforts.
Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree or JD preferred. Must have at least three years of managerial experience with at least three years of experience in a diversity and inclusion role within a law firm, or corporate environment. Proven success developing/implementing D&I programs/events with cultural/talent development outcomes. Proficiency with data analysis deliverables, methods, and tools; survey platforms, project management, and collaborative work platforms. Proficiency in VI Desktop. Proven success working in diversity and inclusion. Strong understanding of inclusion-centered organizational change and talent development. Proven project management skills. The salary range for this role is $120k - $175k commensurate with experience, education, and location.
