What You Will Be Doing
As a Data Analyst at Helion, you will play a key role in transforming complex datasets into actionable insights that directly support our mission to revolutionize clean energy. You will collect, clean, and analyze data across operations, engineering, and business functions, ensuring accuracy and providing clear reporting that enables informed decision-making.
This role is based onsite at our headquarters in Everett, WA, and reports to the Data & Analytics Manager.
You Will:
Collect, organize, and validate large datasets from multiple sources.
Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for operational improvements.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support business and technical teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional groups (Engineering, Operations, Finance, People Ops) to deliver data-driven insights.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare performance reports for leadership.
Support data governance initiatives, ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance.
Participate in discussions around process improvements, leveraging analytics to drive efficiency.
Uphold Helion’s values of rigor, ownership, and truth while ensuring data integrity.
Required Skills:
2+ years of experience in a data analyst or similar analytical role.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL; experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
Proven ability to clean, transform, and interpret complex datasets.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to translate findings for technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
High attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
Experience in technical, engineering, or scientific environments is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
