About the Role:

CSF Industries is seeking experienced Welders to join their team in Portsmith, QLD. This is an exciting opportunity for skilled tradespeople to contribute to large-scale steel fabrication and welding projects in a supportive and well-equipped work environment. The successful candidates will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding steel components while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to guide fabrication and welding processes.
- Perform structural steel fabrication, cutting, shaping, and assembling components.
- Conduct MIG, TIG, and Stick welding based on project specifications.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Work with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, depending on project needs.
- Operate various hand and power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication machinery.
- Ensure a safe and organized work environment, strictly following occupational health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other trades, project managers, and supervisors to meet deadlines.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and skill development initiatives.
- Assist in mentoring apprentices and junior tradespeople as required.
Candidate Requirements:
- Trade qualification in boilermaking, metal fabrication, or welding.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a boilermaking or welding role.
-Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
-Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
-Commitment to workplace safety protocols and quality control standards.
-Experience with welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding (highly desirable).
-A proactive and team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills.
