Position Summary
The ICT Business Analyst at Microminds Pty Ltd is responsible for analysing client business needs and translating them into effective technology solutions within the company’s IT consulting and software development operations. The role involves gathering and documenting requirements, evaluating systems, and working closely with stakeholders and development teams to deliver scalable digital solutions that enhance business performance and user experience.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Collaborate with clients to gather, analyse, and document business and system requirements aligned with Microminds Pty Ltd’s software development and IT consulting services.
• Examine existing business processes, workflows, and operational practices to identify areas for improvement within digital solutions.
• Assess inefficiencies in current systems and recommend enhanced processes, system functionalities, and technology-driven solutions.
• Apply project management methodologies to plan, resource, and support the delivery of IT projects across web, mobile, and software development initiatives.
• Oversee the implementation of functional solutions, including developing and executing system testing strategies to ensure quality and performance standards are met.
• Prepare user manuals, training materials, and deliver training sessions to support client adoption of newly implemented systems.
• Develop detailed functional and technical specifications to guide developers in building scalable and efficient applications.
• Utilise data and process modelling techniques to define system requirements and support the design and development of software solutions.
• Act as a key liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, providing insights and support throughout project decision-making processes.
• Work closely with clients and developers to enhance the functionality and performance of websites, applications, and enterprise systems.

Education & Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science (or equivalent) in a relevant ICT, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline; and
• Master’s degree in Technology with a specialisation in Business Analytics (or relevant) will be highly preferred.

Work Experience
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a Business Analyst or ICT Business Analyst role, including exposure to data analysis, process documentation, and requirements gathering.
Required Skills
• Demonstrated expertise in data analysis, process optimisation, and requirements documentation.
• Strong understanding of ICT system integration and the application of technology solutions to business processes.
• Proven ability to analyse business needs and translate them into clear, structured functional and system requirements.
