Full Time Baker
SALARY $85,000 + SUPERANNUATION

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, and bake doughs, batters, breads, pastries, and other baked products according to recipes and production schedules
• Create new recipes to meet new market demands
• Meet daily production schedules.
• Maintain cleaning of all the bakery equipment including ovens, mixers, pastry sheeters.
• Measure and weigh ingredients accurately to ensure product consistency and quality
• Operate and maintain bakery equipment including ovens, mixers, and proofers
• Monitor baking processes and adjust temperatures and timing as required
• Decorate and finish baked goods where required
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards
• Follow all the health & safety guidelines.
• Manage stock levels of baking ingredients and report shortages or quality issues
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and storage facilities
• Assist in developing new products and improving existing recipes
• Work collaboratively with other kitchen and production staff to meet daily production targets

REQUIRED SKILLS
• Certificate 4 in Baking or similar
• Ability to work weekends and public holidays may be required.
