About the Role

An established retail business located in Culcairn, NSW 2660 is seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to oversee daily store operations and ensure efficient business performance, effective staff supervision, and high standards of customer service. This position requires strong leadership capability, financial management skills, and experience coordinating retail operations in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the daily operations of the retail establishment to ensure smooth and efficient store performance
Supervise staff including recruitment, rostering, training, and performance evaluation
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
Monitor and analyse sales performance and financial data to support business decision-making
Manage store finances including budgeting, expense control, and financial reporting
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts, pricing, and stock supply arrangements
Plan and implement promotional and marketing activities to increase customer engagement and sales
Resolve customer complaints and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock ordering and merchandising activities
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and retail operational standards
Selection Criteria

To be considered for this role, applicants should demonstrate:

A Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Business, Retail Management, Commerce, or a related field (preferred)
Proven experience in a Retail Manager or senior retail supervisory position
Strong leadership and staff management capability
Experience managing store financial performance and reporting
Ability to analyse sales trends and implement operational improvements
Strong communication and customer service skills
Experience liaising with suppliers and managing inventory systems
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced retail environment
