Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Refrigeration Engineer to install, maintain, service, and repair commercial and/or industrial refrigeration and cooling systems. The ideal candidate will ensure all systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
• Install, test, and commission refrigeration and cooling systems
• Perform routine maintenance and preventative servicing
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on refrigeration equipment
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
• Handle refrigerants safely in accordance with environmental regulations
• Ensure systems meet safety, quality, and performance standards
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide technical support
• Advise clients or management on system upgrades and energy efficiency
• Comply with health, safety, and environmental policies at all times
Requirements & Qualifications
• Diploma, Certificate, or Degree in Refrigeration, HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience as a Refrigeration Engineer or Technician
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, compressors, condensers, and evaporators
• Experience with commercial/industrial refrigeration systems
• Valid refrigeration handling certification (e.g., F-Gas or equivalent)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours or on-call when required
