Boddington Food and Liquor Merchant Pty Ltd is seeking reliable and experienced Sous Chef to join our kitchen team in a busy regional hotel environment. You are experienced
and committed to delivering high quality food and maintaining professional kitchen standards.
Location: Boddington Hotel and Accommodation, Boddington WA 6390
Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent, Ongoing
Key Responsibilities
• Assist the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations, menu planning and execution
• Quality control
• Supervise kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef
• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
• Support staff training and ensure efficient service during operating hours
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and proper ingredient storage
• Assist with hiring
Key Skills
• Team leadership and staff supervision
• Menu planning and food preparation
• Inventory and stock management
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Qualifications and Experience
• Diploma or higher qualification in Commercial Cookery (or related field), or at least 3 years of relevant industry experience
• At least 1 year of full-time or equivalent part time experience in a similar role
• Ability to provide 2 recent industry references
• Have full time work rights in Australia
• Able to work on Holidays including public holidays.
