Job Summary
Vision Heritage Group is seeking a motivated and result-driven Agriculture Business Development Officer (Entry-Level) to support the organization’s agricultural business growth and operational expansion.
This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about agriculture, agribusiness development, market expansion, and building strong business relationships within the agricultural value chain. The successful candidate will assist in identifying business opportunities, supporting agricultural initiatives, coordinating with stakeholders, and strengthening customer and partner relationships.
The position requires a professional with good communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities
The Agriculture Business Development Officer will support the growth and development of agricultural business initiatives through the following responsibilities:
* Identify and explore new business opportunities within the agricultural and agribusiness sector.
* Support the development and implementation of strategies aimed at expanding the organization’s agricultural business operations.
* Conduct market research and gather data on agricultural trends, products, and potential markets.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, suppliers, distributors, and other key stakeholders in the agricultural value chain.
* Assist in promoting agricultural products, services, and initiatives of the organization.
* Coordinate meetings with potential partners, clients, and agricultural stakeholders.
* Prepare reports, presentations, and business proposals related to agricultural development initiatives.
* Monitor ongoing agricultural projects and provide administrative support where necessary.
* Maintain accurate documentation, records, and correspondence related to agricultural activities.
* Assist in customer engagement, client relationship management, and service delivery.
* Support the planning and organization of agricultural programs, outreach, or stakeholder meetings.
* Provide general administrative support to the agriculture business development team.
* Utilize Microsoft Office tools to prepare documentation, reports, and presentations.
* Ensure confidentiality of sensitive business and client information.
* Perform other related duties assigned by management.
Educational Qualifications
Applicants must possess at least one of the following:
* OND (Ordinary National Diploma)
* HND (Higher National Diploma)
* NCE (Nigeria Certificate in Education)
* Bachelor’s Degree
Degrees in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, Business Administration, or related disciplines will be considered an advantage.
Age Requirement:25 35 years
Experience
* Minimum of 1 3 years relevant experience in agriculture, agribusiness, sales, marketing, or business development roles.
* Previous experience in the agricultural sector or agribusiness environment will be considered an added advantage.
* Additional professional certifications related to agriculture, agribusiness, or business development will also be an advantage.
