About SkilledUp Life:
At SkilledUp Life, we empower individuals to gain valuable real-world experience that accelerates their careers, while enabling tech startups to grow with the support of skilled Volunteers. Our global community has grown to over 57,500 Volunteers across 147 countries, helping hundreds of startups primarily in the UK and USA scale sustainably.
Purpose of role:
To craft compelling, insightful, and impactful written content that highlights the challenges and opportunities faced by startups, while showcasing how SkilledUp Life and its volunteers create solutions. The role focuses on developing narratives that resonate with founders, startup teams, and wider ecosystem stakeholders.
Key activities:
Conduct in-depth research on startup trends, pain points, and case study companies.
Write engaging blog articles, startup-focused copy, and case studies.
Support volunteer acquisition content (e.g., LinkedIn posts, role promotion copy).
Collaborate with the marketing team (weekly meetings with Godwin & Manoj).
Develop and refine narratives that explain SkilledUp Life’s impact on startups.
Add completed content (articles and case studies) to the content calendar.
Incorporate feedback from team leaders and peers to refine writing style.
Engage with fellow volunteers to share writing strategies and alignment.
