Purpose of role
To create visually compelling graphics for SkilledUp Life’s marketing, social media, startup case studies, opportunity posts, and campaigns. This role supports consistent brand visibility, audience engagement, and the promotion of startup volunteer roles through well-crafted, on-brand design.
Key activities
Design engaging graphics for social media (e.g. LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, etc), including opportunity posts, copy articles, and motivational tips.
Develop visual assets for startup case studies, founder features, and internal campaigns.
Apply branding guidelines consistently across all platforms, using Figma, Illustrator, and Canva.
Collaborate with team members (marketing, HR, content creators) to align visuals with messaging.
Maintain and update design asset libraries and content calendars.
Receive and apply feedback from leadership to refine deliverables.
Maintain a reusable social media design kit for new and future designers.
Archive and organize design assets for scalable content reuse and referencing.
