Purpose of Role

The Talent Acquisition Volunteer supports SkilledUp Life’s mission by sourcing, engaging, and onboarding new volunteers globally, with a focus on India. This role combines lead generation, outreach, and onboarding responsibilities to grow SkilledUp Life’s global volunteer community while strengthening startup ecosystems.

Key Activities

Identify and engage prospective volunteers using LinkedIn, job boards, university networks, and social platforms.
Conduct daily lead scraping across universities and professional networks, verifying lead details before outreach.
Launch structured email campaigns and track responses using approved templates and CRM systems.
Monitor hashtags and posts on LinkedIn to engage with potential volunteers and direct them to SkilledUp Life opportunities.
Guide prospective volunteers through the onboarding process, ensuring profiles are completed accurately.
Collaborate with the Volunteer Acquisition Team (VAT) and Head of Volunteer Acquisition on outreach strategies.
Maintain consistent communication with leads and volunteers through Slack, email, and direct messaging.
Update Master Sheets, Trello/Asana boards, and CRM systems daily to ensure records are accurate.
Participate in weekly team meetings and progress reviews with the Head of Volunteer Acquisition.
Attend networking and promotional events (Twitter Spaces, LinkedIn Live, Clubhouse, webinars) to attract new volunteers.
