Purpose of role

The Support Volunteer ensures SkilledUp Life delivers exceptional experiences to both Volunteers and Tech Startup Customers. This role is responsible for guiding visitors through profile creation, assisting with opportunity applications, and resolving inquiries via Tawk Chat, in-built messaging, and occasional social channels. By keeping the community engaged and supported, the Support Volunteer strengthens SkilledUp Life’s reputation, customer retention, and overall community satisfaction.

Key activities

Handle Tawk Chats from prospective and existing Volunteers and Customers.
Reach out to community members to encourage profile completion via chat and direct messaging.
Guide Volunteers in creating and updating SkilledUp Life profiles.
Support Companies in setting up accounts, publishing Opportunities, and subscribing to services.
Assist Volunteers in applying for Opportunities and Companies in finding suitable matches.
Improve and update FAQs to enhance the self-service experience.
Log missed chats, follow-up actions, and outreach in tracking sheets.
Report issues, concerns, and complaints to the Head of Support.
Actively participate in Support stand-ups, CEO sessions, and peer trainings.
Contribute to outreach campaigns across different geographies (e.g., Kenya, Netherlands, Australia).
