Purpose of Role

The User Acquisition Sub-Team Leader leads SkilledUp Life’s worldwide volunteer acquisition and onboarding strategy. This role focuses on building scalable systems, mentoring regional acquisition volunteers, and driving the growth of SkilledUp Life’s global talent community across Africa, Europe, the Americas, and Asia. The Manager will develop new sourcing strategies, optimize processes, and ensure alignment with the organization’s mission of connecting skilled individuals with startups seeking support.

Key Activities

Lead and mentor regional User Acquisition Volunteers and sourcing volunteers across multiple regions (Africa, Europe, the Americas, and Asia).
Design, manage, and refine the global volunteer acquisition and onboarding process for scalability.
Develop region-specific sourcing strategies through job boards, LinkedIn, universities, and community partnerships.
Oversee daily outreach campaigns and ensure consistent messaging across communication channels.
Identify and test new sourcing channels and tools to attract skilled volunteers globally.
Track key acquisition metrics, including lead generation, sign-ups, and conversion rates.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM systems, spreadsheets, and tracking dashboards.
Collaborate with the Volunteer Acquisition Team, team leaders and CEO to align talent acquisition goals with company priorities.
Conduct regular check-ins and feedback sessions with acquisition volunteers to support performance and development.
Represent SkilledUp Life in online networking or recruitment events to promote global opportunities and partnerships.
