Purpose of role
To lead and mentor a small marketing sub-team within SkilledUp Life, driving strategy execution, coordinating campaigns, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. The Sub-Team Leader ensures marketing output aligns with the organization’s mission while developing leadership, collaboration, and analytical skills.
Key activities
Team Management: Assign, track, and guide sub-team tasks (e.g. content, case studies, social media).
Campaign Planning: Lead content calendar creation and scheduling across platforms.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with HR, content, and design teams to align messaging and output.
Data Monitoring: Analyze social media performance (LinkedIn focus); adjust strategy based on metrics.
Mentorship: Support volunteer growth through guidance, feedback, and onboarding coordination.
Content Creation: Develop career tips, motivational posts, and manage case study pipelines.
Brand Voice Management: Ensure all outputs align with SkilledUp Life’s brand identity and tone.
