Purpose of role

The Sales & Customer Acquisition Sub-team Leader is responsible for leading, coordinating, and enabling a team of Sales Volunteers to achieve customer acquisition and revenue growth targets. This role combines people leadership, pipeline oversight, performance management, and strategic execution. By guiding volunteers, improving sales processes, and ensuring consistent activity across regions, the Sub-team Leader plays a critical role in scaling SkilledUp Life’s customer base while developing leadership experience in SaaS sales management and team operations.

Key activities

Lead, coach, and support a team of Sales Volunteers to achieve performance targets.
Ensure all team members understand SkilledUp Life’s sales process, value proposition, and customer personas.
Oversee lead allocation, enrichment, and pipeline health in HubSpot.
Monitor outreach activity, demos, and conversions across the sub-team.
Provide guidance on handling objections, closing strategies, and customer engagement.
Review CRM data for accuracy, completeness, and insights.
Coordinate regular team meetings, check-ins, and performance reviews.
Escalate risks, blockers, or major opportunities to the Head of Sales.
Collaborate with Marketing, Partnerships, and Support teams to improve conversion and retention.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new Sales Volunteers.
Identify process improvements and share best practices across the global Sales Team.
Represent SkilledUp Life at public-facing events and support team participation.
