Job Description
Repair & Maintenance:
Diagnose and fix complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic issues on cars, light/heavy trucks, and construction equipment (engines, brakes, transmissions, HVAC).
Preventative Maintenance: Conduct thorough inspections, perform scheduled servicing, and train others on PM tasks.
Leadership & Training: Mentor junior mechanics, guide team efforts, and ensure high-quality, safe work.
Operations: Manage shop activities, coordinate shift work, maintain parts inventory, and order supplies.
Documentation: Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and equipment status.
Safety: Adhere to and enforce all safety, health, and environmental policies.
Required Skills & Knowledge
Expertise in internal combustion engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, and vehicle diagnostics.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools, testing equipment, welding, and shop machinery (lathe, drill press).
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and lead a team.
