I am recruiting for a unique opportunity - a Tax Leader for a small CPA firm in Basalt (near Snowmass/Aspen). They are open to someone living on the Front Range and travelling up there for in person one week every couple of months (maybe a bit more in the beginning to meet clients) and then working remote. Accomodations will be covered for visits.

Responsibilities:

This is being the face of small CPA firm well-regarded in the Basalt area. You will lead a team of 2-4 staff and providing tax compliance and strategy for Partnerships, S-Corps and some C-Corps (lots of construction, real estate, and HOA's )
Provide tax consulting and strategy to clients
Mentor and develop staff
Develop relationships with clients
Experience/Background:

3-6+ years Tax experience for small and medium sized clients
CPA - or actively persuing
A natural mentor - someone who enjoys watching others grow
Tech-savvy with tax systems
A team player who leads with kindness, curiousity and a sense of humor
A lover of the mountains
