Employer and Location: Mega Roofing & Exteriors Inc. operating as Mega Roofing is seeking three experienced full-time Roofers to complete residential and commercial projects in the city of Calgary and surrounding areas.

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience: At least 2 years of experience.

Work site environment: Outdoors, at heights, and dusty conditions.

Work conditions and physical capabilities:
Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads and work under pressure.

Personal suitability: Client focus, dependability, reliability, team player.

Terms of Employment:
$36.00 per hour
Full-time 35 hours per week
6% vacation pay

Specific Skills:
• Install built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel;
• Install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles and shakes and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings;
• Install roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings;
• Install single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials, such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions;
• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements;
• Repair or replace shingles and shakes on sloped roofs of buildings;
• Repair or replace single-ply roofing systems;
• Repair roofing systems;
• Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools, and
• Install sheet metal flashings.
