Position Title: Full time Welder
Salary: $76,515 per annum plus superannuation

Tasks include:
• Fabricating and welding metal components according to specifications
• Repairing metal components and inspect them to ensure they meet requirements
• Selecting the appropriate materials and equipment needed for welding based on the project specifications.
• Setting up welding equipment and select proper welding techniques based on materials
• Welding and fabricating metal components using MIG, TIG, or stick welding techniques
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area and follow safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborating with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals.
• Interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand the requirements of a project.
• Inspecting the work to ensure that welds meet quality standards and project specifications, checking for defects or imperfections
• Collaborating with fabrication teams to plan and execute complex welding tasks
• Applying specialised finishing techniques, including polishing and buffing, to welded joints and surfaces

Skill level required:
• Certificate in the relevant field is mandatory.
• Minimum three years of relevant work experience
• Knowledge on different welding techniques such as stainless steel TIG, aluminum TIG, mild steel TIG welding, MIG aluminum welding, mild steel ARC and stainless-steel ARC welding is essential
• Proven experience as a welder
• Strong attention to detail
