Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst and Research professional to join our team. The IT Business Analyst and Documentation Specialist is responsible for bridging the gap between business stakeholders and the technical team by analyzing business requirements, designing solutions, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This role also encompasses managing and producing comprehensive documentation, including technical materials, proposals, letters, memos, and reports, ensuring clear communication across all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Analysis:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for IT systems and processes.
Conduct thorough analysis of business needs and translate them into detailed functional and non-functional requirements
. Develop business process models and workflows to identify areas for process improvements and optimization.
Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to review and refine requirements, ensuring mutual understanding and alignment.
Work closely with development and technical teams to ensure business requirements are translated into effective solutions.
Perform feasibility studies and prepare project scoping and impact analysis documents
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by ensuring that systems meet business requirements.
2. Documentation:
Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain core documentation such as Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Software Requirements Specifications (SRS), Functional Design Documents (FDD), and technical architecture diagrams.
User Documentation: Create user guides, training materials, and operational manuals tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proposals: Draft comprehensive IT project proposals covering business needs, technical solutions, timelines, and cost estimates, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Reports: Deliver timely project reports, including status updates, progress summaries, performance metrics, and risk assessments, providing clear insights for management and stakeholders.
Process Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of workflows, timelines, and procedures to ensure project transparency and accessibility across teams.
