Job Description
We seek a Medical Assistant with exceptional patient care skills, strong communication, and personalized customer service expertise.
The Role of the Medical Assistant:
• Warmly greet and room patients
• Collect blood & urine samples, measure vital signs, and maintain clean exam rooms
• Assist with clerical tasks
• Exercise sound clinical judgment within the scope of the role, even without a provider present
• Follow all clinical and clerical protocols as per company policy
• Perform other duties as assigned
This is a 40 hour work week opportunity with eligible benefits.
Hours: Monday-Friday 8a-5p

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
• High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) plus one of the following:
• Medical Assistant certification or diploma from an accredited MA program
• Or 1 year relevant work experience or on-the-job training in place of certification or diploma
• Military trained medic
• Paramedic
Experience:
• At least one year of recent experience in a medical setting is strongly preferred.
• Current BLS, CPR certification, and current health records with documentation for immunizations are required to work in the healthcare field (hepatitis B and tuberculosis).
