Our client in the Manufacturing Industry is currently looking to employ a Storeman and Stock Controller to be based in Elandsfontein, East Rand, Gauteng.

3+ years in warehousing, stock control or project logistics - from the solar industry secures.

Requirements:
• 3+ years in warehousing, stock control or project logistics (preferably in electrical, solar, or construction environment).
• Grade 12 (Matric) minimum; post-school logistics or inventory certificates advantageous.

Responsibilities, but not limited to:

1. Project Kit Preparation and Dispatch:
• Project BOMs accurately packed and prepared.
• On-time dispatch of complete kits to project team.
• Dispatch readiness aligned to project calendar.
• Proactive flagging of short stock before deadlines.

2. Stock Control and Inventory Management:
• Accurate stock binning and labelling.
• System and physical inventory alignment.
• Monthly cycle count completion.
• Stock aging reports submitted quarterly.

3. Returns Handling and Warranty Intake:
• All project return stock assessed and logged.
• Faulty items quarantined and tagged for warranty.
• Inventory reconciliation of reusable vs. scrap items.
• Clean documentation trail for all incoming returns.

4. Delivery Coordination and Communication:
• Accurate dispatch notes and delivery handovers.
• Communication with logistics team on staging timelines.
• Proof-of-delivery filed and verified post-dispatch.
• Feedback loop from project team on delivery completeness.

5. Warehouse Compliance and Housekeeping:
• Weekly safety and housekeeping checklist completed.
• Zero safety violations reported.
• Racking, fire lanes, and hazardous zones compliant.
• Warehouse rated ? 90% on internal SHEQ inspections.
