TRUCK MECHANIC

Location: Perth
Position: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $80,000 to $95,000 p.a. plus super

We are seeking a reliable, experienced motor/truck mechanic to join our team at WA Outback Pty Ltd.

The role includes:

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing light and heavy trucks.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults.
• Dismantling and reassembling engines, transmissions, steering mechanisms, brakes and other parts
• Carrying out inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Keeping accurate service records
• Carry out all work safely and competently.

What we are looking for:

• AQF Certificate III with 2 years of on-the-job training or AQF Certificate IV or another relevant trade qualification
• 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of the formal qualifications will be considered.
• At least 1 year of full time or part-time equivalent relevant and practical workshop work experience.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A heavy vehicle licence.
