Position: Construction Project Manager-Store Development
Wage: CAD$ 51.92 per hour
Types: Full-time, Permanent
Working hours: 30-40 hours per week
Benefits: 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:
• Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate franchise store construction and development projects from start to completion, ensuring they meet established schedules, specifications, budgets, and the company's franchise standards.
• Prepare and submit estimated budgets for construction and store development projects.
• Develop construction schedules and project milestones, and track progress to ensure established timelines are met.
• Draft contracts and negotiate amendments, modifications, and additions to agreements with architects, consultants, franchisees, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Establish and implement quality control programs to ensure construction work meets required standards and approved franchise specifications.
• Represent the company in matters related to business services.
• Prepare project progress reports and provide updated schedules to clients and relevant stakeholders.
• Direct the purchase of building materials.
• Hire and supervise the activities of subcontractors and subordinate staff.

Job Requirements:
• A University Degree in Civil Engineering or a College Diploma in construction technology is required.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in the construction industry, which must include dedicated experience as a construction supervisor, field superintendent, or project manager is required.
• Experience in commercial retail, hospitality, or restaurant store development is highly preferred.
• A Master's Degree in Project Management is an asset.
• Professional Engineering status or a construction trade certification is an asset.
• Language at work: English

Job Location: 1120-950 Seaborne Ave., Port Coquitlam, BC V3B 0R9. (Actual work locations vary depending on project locations and will be primarily within the Lower Mainland, British Columbia)
