Job Description

Prepare detailed 2D drawings and layouts using AutoCAD based on engineering, architectural, or project requirements.

Develop plans, elevations, sections, details, and as-built drawings.

Review drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

Make revisions and modifications to drawings as instructed by engineers, designers, or project managers.

Coordinate drawings with other disciplines and identify potential clashes or discrepancies.

Maintain proper drawing standards, layers, dimensions, symbols, and title blocks.

Prepare shop drawings and fabrication drawings where required.

Maintain and organize drawing files, revisions, and documentation.

Ensure all drawings are completed accurately and within project deadlines.

Assist in preparing quantity take-offs and material schedules when required.

Coordinate with site teams to incorporate site measurements and actual conditions into drawings.

Follow company procedures, relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.

Perform other drafting and technical duties as assigned.
