Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Restaurant Accountant to manage the restaurant’s financial records, daily transactions, sales reconciliation, expenses, and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate must have previous accounting experience in an à la carte restaurant and be comfortable working with daily sales, cash, POS transactions, inventory, and operational expenses.

Key Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate records of daily restaurant transactions.
* Record and reconcile daily sales from cash, POS, transfers, and other payment channels.
* Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
* Monitor restaurant income, expenses, and cash flow.
* Reconcile cash and POS sales with recorded transactions.
* Track invoices, receipts, purchases, and supplier payments.
* Monitor food, beverage, and operational costs.
* Assist with stock and inventory reconciliation.
* Identify and report discrepancies in sales, cash, or inventory records.
* Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
* Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation.
* Assist management with budgeting and financial planning.
* Ensure proper accounting procedures and internal controls are followed.
* Provide financial reports and relevant information to management when required.

Requirements
* B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar accounting position.
* Previous experience in an à la carte restaurant is required.
* Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good organizational and time-management skills.
* Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve financial issues.
* High level of integrity and confidentiality.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
