Position: Accountant

Location: Lagos

Salary: 200,000 per month
Work Schedule: 3 days on-site

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage the company’s financial records, transactions, reconciliations, and reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong numerical and analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accurate and confidential financial records.

Key Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
* Record and monitor daily financial transactions.
* Prepare financial reports and summaries for management.
* Monitor income, expenses, receivables, and payables.
* Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
* Prepare and review invoices, receipts, and payment documentation.
* Monitor cash flow and company expenditure.
* Assist with budgeting and financial planning.
* Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.
* Identify and report financial discrepancies.
* Ensure accounting procedures are followed appropriately.
* Provide financial information and reports to management when required.
* Perform other accounting duties assigned by management.

Requirements
* B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Proven experience in accounting or a similar role.
* Good understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good organizational and time-management skills.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling financial information.
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
