Job Description
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment at all times.
• Performs functions of Operator and/or Material Handler.
• Takes on added responsibility of running and inspecting machines in his/her production area and assists where needed with minor troubleshooting under Assembly Mechanic II direction.
• Assists with parts and tooling change overs.
• Opens work orders and issues parts.
• Cleans, inspects and lubricates high speed equipment.
• Rebuilds machine/mechanical components.
• Performs restorative maintenance.
• Responsible for product safety and the quality of goods produced.
• Assists the Assembly Mechanic II perform preventative maintenance.
• Prints and interprets production schedules.
• Assists team lead and may fill in as necessary/based on business need.
• Completes and e-mails production log as required.
