Job Description

Project P1 is a motorsport and performance workshop in Doha, Qatar, and we are currently looking for two skilled Fabricators / Welders to join our team.

Our fabrication work is mainly automotive and motorsport related, including custom performance parts, exhaust systems, intercooler and intake piping, brackets, mounts, roll cages and other custom fabrication.

Previous motorsport fabrication experience is preferred, but it is not essential. We are also interested in skilled fabricators from other industries who have good hands-on ability, clean workmanship and are interested in learning automotive and motorsport fabrication.

Required / preferred skills:

* TIG welding
* MIG welding
* Stainless-steel fabrication
* Aluminium fabrication
* Mild-steel fabrication
* Cutting, grinding, fitting and preparation
* Measuring and fabrication from drawings or from the vehicle
* Ability to produce clean, strong and professional-quality welds

Experience with titanium is an advantage but is not required.

We understand that not every applicant will already be an experienced motorsport fabricator. If you have good basic welding and fabrication skills, a good attitude and are willing to learn, we are willing to develop the right person.

Typical work may include:

* Stainless-steel exhaust systems
* Aluminium intercooler and intake piping
* Turbocharger piping and related fabrication
* Brackets and mounts
* Roll cages and chassis fabrication
* Fuel tanks and other aluminium components
* Custom automotive and motorsport parts

Applicants who can also perform automotive mechanical work are a strong advantage.

Salary: Based on experience, welding/fabrication quality and overall skill level.
