Premier Ducts (QLD) Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced ICT Business Analyst to support the company’s business systems, digital processes, reporting functions, and technology improvement projects. The position will be based at our business premises in Heathwood, Queensland.

About the Role

The ICT Business Analyst will analyse business requirements, review existing ICT systems and workflows, identify opportunities for improvement, and support the implementation of technology solutions to improve operational efficiency across the business.

The successful candidate will work closely with management, operational staff, external vendors, and technical stakeholders to ensure ICT solutions meet business needs and support the company’s ongoing growth.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Analyse current business processes, workflows, and ICT systems to identify improvement opportunities.
Gather, document, and evaluate business requirements from management and key stakeholders.
Prepare business requirement documents, functional specifications, process maps, and system workflow documentation.
Review existing software systems, databases, reporting tools, and digital platforms used across the business.
Liaise with software vendors, ICT service providers, and internal users to support system upgrades, integrations, and process improvements.
Assist in designing and implementing ICT solutions to improve reporting, inventory tracking, job management, production coordination, and administrative processes.
Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing, and post-implementation reviews for new or upgraded systems.
Identify system issues, data inconsistencies, and process gaps, and recommend practical solutions.
Develop user guides, training materials, and support documentation for internal staff.
Provide training and support to users on new systems, reporting tools, and digital workflows.
Monitor system performance and prepare reports for management on ICT project progress and business improvement outcomes.
Ensure system changes comply with business requirements, data security expectations, and operational procedures.
Skills and Experience Required
Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analysis, or a closely related field.
Minimum 1- 3 years of experience, as an ICT Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar ICT/business improvement role.
Strong understanding of business process analysis, requirements gathering, system documentation, and workflow mapping.
Experience working with databases, reporting tools, ERP/CRM systems, or business management software.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience preparing business requirement documents, functional specifications, test plans, and process maps.
Ability to manage competing priorities and support multiple ICT/business improvement projects.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Skills
Experience in manufacturing, construction, logistics, building products, ducting, HVAC, or related operational environments.
Knowledge of inventory, production, warehouse, order management, or job tracking systems.
Experience with Microsoft 365, Excel reporting, Power BI, SQL, ERP systems, or similar platforms.
Familiarity with cybersecurity, data quality, and system integration principles.
