Salary: $75,000 $105,000 per year plus superannuation, depending on experience and skills

MARMAX TRANSPORT PTY LTD is a transport business based in Redbank, Queensland. We are seeking an organised Fleet Manager to oversee the operation, maintenance and administration of our commercial vehicle fleet.

You will work with drivers, mechanics, suppliers and management to keep vehicles available, safe and appropriately maintained while supporting efficient transport operations.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate the day-to-day use and allocation of fleet vehicles.
Arrange regular servicing, inspections, repairs and preventative maintenance.
Monitor vehicle availability, condition, utilisation, fuel use and operating costs.
Coordinate with drivers, mechanics, workshops and suppliers to minimise vehicle downtime.
Maintain accurate records of registrations, inspections, servicing, repairs and vehicle performance.
Support vehicle purchasing, replacement and disposal decisions.
Ensure vehicle defects, breakdowns, damage and incidents are reported, addressed and recorded.
Monitor compliance with relevant transport, workplace health and safety, and company requirements.
Maintain relevant driver licence, training and vehicle documentation.
Prepare fleet performance, maintenance and cost reports for management.
Develop procedures to improve fleet safety, availability and operating efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience

1 3 years of relevant experience in fleet management, transport operations or a similar role.
A qualification in fleet management, transport management, logistics, business management or a related field will be highly regarded.
Experience coordinating commercial vehicle maintenance and working with drivers, workshops or suppliers.
Sound organisational, communication, record-keeping and computer skills.
An understanding of Australian transport and workplace safety requirements will be highly regarded.
