Monday to Saturday, three hours daily. Preferred shift: 11am 2pm.

OptiMatch Solutions is recruiting an experienced, dependable Support Worker / Personal Assistant for a long-term part-time opportunity supporting an adult in their own home.

This role suits someone who values building a consistent working relationship, respects individual choices and encourages independence in everyday life.

Working pattern
You will need to cover eighteen hours across Monday to Saturday and travel reliably to Bellingham SE6. The preferred hours are 11am 2pm each day. Any alternative timing must be agreed before appointment; flexible hours are not guaranteed.

Your responsibilities
- Provide respectful day-to-day support and personal care in line with an agreed care plan.
- Help with everyday routines, meal preparation and agreed light household tasks.
- Encourage independence, participation and choice without rushing or unnecessarily taking over.
- Offer companionship and communicate clearly and respectfully.
- Follow agreed guidance, work within your training and competence, keep accurate records and report concerns promptly.

About you
You have relevant hands-on adult care experience, a patient and encouraging approach, and a strong commitment to dignity and privacy. You can follow individual guidance, recognise when to seek help and build a dependable working relationship.

Appointment is subject to appropriate references, right-to-work verification and the required DBS checks. Employer sponsorship is not available for this role.
