Support Worker permanent opportunities in Gloucester
From 12.77 per hour, depending on experience

Help someone get more from everyday life from preparing a meal and building confidence to getting out into the community. OptiMatch Solutions is recruiting Support Workers for a care provider in Gloucester, supporting adults with dignity, choice and independence.

If you are dependable, patient and enjoy helping people do things for themselves, we would like to hear from you. Previous care or support-work experience is welcome, but is not essential.

The opportunity at a glance
- Permanent employment, with a provider-confirmed minimum contract of 12 hours per week.
- Contracted hours rather than bank or zero-hours work. The hours available for your placement and shift pattern must be agreed with the provider.
- Work across Gloucester and surrounding areas, including Hardwicke, Longlevens, Matson and Tuffley. Your specific work location will be agreed during recruitment.
- A full UK driving licence is required, but you do not need to own a vehicle.

- Support daily routines and personal care where required, respecting each person’s preferences.
- Help with meals, appointments and community activities.
- Encourage confidence, everyday choices and independence.
- Follow individual care plans, keep clear records and report changes or concerns.
- Work reliably with colleagues and other professionals to provide consistent support.
