Job Description

Prepare and review engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.

Perform site inspections and surveys to assess site conditions.

Plan and supervise construction activities to ensure work follows approved designs.

Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and other engineers.

Monitor project progress, quality, cost, and schedule.

Ensure construction complies with building codes, engineering standards, and safety requirements.

Calculate and verify quantities, materials, dimensions, and structural requirements.

Prepare BOQs, estimates, technical reports, and project documentation.

Inspect construction materials and completed work for quality and compliance.

Identify construction problems and develop practical engineering solutions.

Review contractor method statements, shop drawings, and material submittals.

Maintain daily records, progress reports, inspection requests, and other project documentation.

Assist with testing, commissioning, and project handover.

Monitor and manage health, safety, and environmental requirements on site.

Support clients and project managers with technical advice and progress updates.
