Job Description
THE OPPORTUNITY
As Head of Risk & Compliance, you will build GNPL's enterprise risk management framework from scratch and shape the risk culture of a new pension operator, working closely with, though organisationally distinct from, the statutory Compliance Officer function.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Develop and implement GNPL's enterprise risk management framework and risk appetite statement.
Establish and service the Board Risk Management Committee.
Maintain the organisation's risk register and lead periodic risk assessments and stress testing.
Ensure investment and operational transactions comply with the Pension Reform Act 2014 and PenCom regulations.
Support the fit and proper due diligence process for GNPL's promoters, shareholders and management staff.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
A first degree and a postgraduate degree, or a recognised professional certification.
A minimum of 10 years’ post-qualification experience, including at least 8 years in the financial services sector.
At least 5 years of top management experience.
A recognised risk management certification is an advantage.
Strong analytical capability and sound, independent judgement.
