THE OPPORTUNITY

This role offers the opportunity to build GNPL's internal audit function from its foundation, with direct, independent reporting to the Board Audit Committee of a newly licensed pension operator.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Develop and execute a risk-based annual internal audit plan.
Conduct independent reviews of GNPL's operational, financial, investment and compliance controls.
Service the Board Audit Committee.
Always Maintain functional independence from the Risk Management and Compliance functions.
Track management's implementation of audit recommendations.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

A first degree and a postgraduate degree; must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAN, ACCA or equivalent).
A minimum of 10 years’ post-qualification experience, including at least 8 years in the financial services sector.
At least 5 years of top management experience.
A CIA or CISA qualification is an advantage.
Strong independence, objectivity and Board-level reporting skills.
