Job Description

Position: Store Manager - Retail (NOC 60020)
Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
Compensation: $44.00 per hour
Working hours: 30 hours per week
Benefit: 4% of vacation pay

Job Duties
Take full responsibility for the overall management and success of POP-IN FOOD STORE, overseeing all store operations and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Manage all aspects of staffing, including recruiting, training, scheduling, supervising, and retaining store employees.
Plan and control store operations including purchasing, merchandising, and inventory management to ensure steady product availability and minimal waste.
Analyze Odessa local market trends and customer preferences to determine product mix, pricing, and promotional activities.
Establish sales targets and operational goals, monitor performance, and implement strategies to achieve strong financial outcomes.
Develop and oversee budgets, revenues, and expenditures.
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and distributors, negotiating effectively to secure quality products and competitive pricing.
Ensure full compliance with food safety, health, and workplace standards while fostering a safe and efficient work environment.
Oversee store security, including key control and cash handling procedures.
Skills
Manage and oversee all store operations, including cash handling and retail systems.
Lead, supervise, and motivate staff to achieve sales and performance goals.
Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a positive client experience.
Prior retail management or supervisory experience required.
Willing to relocate to a rural area.

Requirements
Completion of a two-year diploma or higher
Min. 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a retail sales environment
