Classic Frosted Pty Ltd is a trusted supplier and processor of toughened glass and cut-to-size glass solutions, servicing the Greater Sydney, ACT, Wollongong, Illawarra, Central Coast and Newcastle regions. Our products and services are used across a wide range of residential and commercial applications, including shower screens, pool fencing and balustrades, kitchen splashbacks, doors, shopfronts, office partitioning, windows and louvre blades.

We are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join our team and support the preparation of accurate cost estimates and quotations for glass-related construction and installation projects.

Key Duties:
Review and interpret architectural drawings, plans, specifications and project requirements to determine the scope of glass and glazing works.
Prepare accurate cost estimates, quotations and cost plans for residential and commercial glass projects through to the tender stage.
Calculate material quantities, labour requirements, processing costs, delivery costs and other project-related expenses.
Assess project requirements for products including toughened, laminated, low iron, mirror, painted, acid-etched and other specialised glass.
Liaise with suppliers, customers, architects, builders and internal production teams to clarify project requirements and obtain relevant pricing information.
Analyse project specifications, building requirements, relevant regulations and codes of practice when preparing estimates.
Review project drawings and identify potential variations, technical requirements and cost implications.
Prepare and maintain detailed estimation and quotation documentation.
Monitor material and project costs and assist with identifying cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or project requirements.
Provide estimating support to the sales, production and project teams to assist with tender preparation and project planning.

Requirements:
Relevant qualifications and/or experience in construction estimating, quantity surveying, building, glazing or a related field.
Experience interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
Strong numerical, analytical and cost-estimating skills.
Good understanding of construction materials, processes and project requirements.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
Experience in the glass, glazing or building industry will be highly regarded.
