Position Title: Full-time Information Management Analyst
Annual Salary: AUD $80,000 + Superannuation
Introduction:
Eltham Carpet Court is a leading flooring retailer based in Eltham, Victoria, looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Information Management Analyst to join our team for an immediate start.
Duties:
• Collect, organise and analyse business information from sales, inventory, customer, purchasing and operational systems to support management decision-making.
• Develop and maintain information management systems, databases, spreadsheets and reporting tools to ensure business information is accurate, accessible and reliable.
• Prepare regular and ad hoc management reports, analytical summaries and performance dashboards to monitor sales, inventory, customer activity and other key business indicators.
• Analyse business data and trends to identify operational issues, business opportunities and areas for improvement and provide recommendations to management.
• Review and improve information flows, reporting processes and business procedures to enhance information quality, operational efficiency and organisational performance.
• Monitor the accuracy, completeness and consistency of business information, investigate discrepancies and implement appropriate data-quality controls.
• Coordinate the collection and validation of information across different business functions and liaise with staff, suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure relevant information is obtained and maintained.
• Provide professional advice and analytical support to management on information management, business reporting, forecasting, performance monitoring and the effective use of organisational information.
Skills and Experience:
• A minimum of Bachelor’s degree level qualification in IT or in the relevant field
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is mandatory
• Strong analytical and organisational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data systems
• Knowledge of workforce management and process improvements (desirable)
• Understanding of compliance and recordkeeping requirements
• Ability to work under pressure
