About the Role

Disrepair Solutions Group is expanding its field team and is looking for confident, motivated people to work in local communities speaking with tenants about housing disrepair.

You will speak directly with residents and identify potential housing disrepair enquiries involving issues such as damp, mould, leaks, water ingress, heating and hot-water problems, defective windows, plumbing problems and unresolved repairs.

You do not need previous housing experience. Full training and guidance will be provided.

What You Will Do Work in assigned residential areas Speak with tenants at their homes Identify residents experiencing housing disrepair Ask questions about the problems affecting their property Establish whether issues have been reported to the landlord or housing provider Record accurate resident and property information Identify potential qualifying enquiries Submit cases through the approved DSG process Maintain professional and respectful communication with residents Follow DSG's compliance, data protection and customer-handling procedures What We Are Looking For Confident communication skills A professional and approachable manner Good people skills Ability to work independently Reliable and organised Comfortable working outdoors and visiting residential areas Sales, canvassing, customer service or field-based experience is useful but not essential Previous housing experience is not required A positive attitude and willingness to learn Earnings

This is a self-employed, performance-based opportunity.

Sales Administrator: 150 per qualifying case/deal, subject to DSG validation and acceptance.

Payments are intended to be processed weekly following validation.

There is no guaranteed salary or guaranteed minimum income. Only cases that meet the applicable DSG acceptance criteria qualify for payment.

Progression

Successful team members can progress through the DSG structure:

Sales Administrator
Team Leader
Advanced Leader
Team Manager
Director

Progression can include increased earning opportunities, team development, recruitment, training and management responsibilities.

Working Hours

The normal DSG operating window is Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 4:30pm. Weekends are normally non-operational unless specifically authorised.

Important

This is a self-employed commercial opportunity rather than an employed salaried position.

You will be responsible for your own tax and National Insurance obligations.
