JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee HR operations within a fast-paced hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in hospitality, restaurants, bars, hotels, or other high-volume service environments, with the ability to work effectively with Management and frontline teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Oversee day-to-day HR operations across the business.
- Manage talent acquisition, recruitment, selection, and onboarding.
- Develop strategies for staff retention and workforce planning.
- Manage employee relations and resolve workplace issues effectively.
- Coordinate performance management and employee evaluations.
- Identify and coordinate staff training and development programmes.
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures.
- Coordinate payroll and ensure accurate employee records.
- Monitor attendance, leave, shifts, and workforce scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Nigerian employment laws and regulations.
- Provide HR advice and support to Management on employee-related matters.
- Promote a positive, accountable, and high-performing workplace culture.
- Work closely with restaurant and bar operations to address day-to-day workforce needs.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 10 years' relevant HR experience, preferably within hospitality, restaurants, bars, hotels, or other fast-paced service environments.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian employment practices and HR regulations.
- Proven experience managing shift-based and high-volume workforces.
- Professional HR certification such as CIPM is an added advantage.
- Strong employee relations, organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced operational environment.
