Wanakena Motel is located at 815 E. Hwy 16, Burns Lake, BC V0J 1E0. We are currently looking for a permanent, full-time Executive Housekeeper. If you are interested, please submit your application by email or mail.

Position: Executive Housekeeper
Wage: CAD$23.86 per hour
Types: Full-time, Permanent (various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays)
Working hours: 30 40 hours per week
Benefits: 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:
• Direct and oversee the operations of housekeeping department
• Co-ordinate and supervise the housekeeping staff
• Plan and prepare staff work schedules
• Inspect to ensure motel’s cleaning standards and health & safety regulations are met
• Select and order housekeeping equipment and supplies to ensure staff have proper tools for work
• Maintain inventory
• Co-ordinate maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery
• Hire and train housekeeping staff
• Maintain financial records and prepare budgets, payrolls

Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is required
• Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience as a cleaning supervisor is required
• A university degree or college diploma in hospital management, hotel management or business administration is an asset
• Language at work: English
