Full-Time Retail Store Manager
Annual Salary: $80,000
Key Responsibilities:
• Organise and control the overall daily operations to ensure the venue (retail and entertainment services) functions smoothly, efficiently, and safely, including managing opening/closing procedures and supervising service flow.
• Lead, train, and supervise team members (including floor staff, hosts, and technicians), controlling their selection, performance management, and ongoing training to achieve sales, service, and operational targets.
• Manage staff rosters, attendance records, and leave schedules in accordance with company policies and award requirements to ensure optimal staffing levels.
• Ensure the delivery of high-standard customer service and promptly resolve customer issues or complaints to maintain the venue’s reputation.
• Monitor stock levels of all retail items (e.g., cues, balls, refreshments), order supplies, and maintain accurate inventory records, including stocktake procedures.
• Handle cash management, daily reconciliation, and ensure all financial records are accurate; assist in undertaking budgeting for the establishment and monitoring expenditure.
• Ensure strict compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS) regulations, and all relevant legislation, maintaining a safe environment for both staff and patrons.
• Report operational, staffing, and performance matters, including sales data and incident reports, to senior management.
• Promote the company’s goods and services by implementing in-store marketing, maintaining professional visual merchandising, and overseeing promotional activities.
• Maintain the cleanliness, presentation, and professional appearance of the entire store, including playing areas, equipment, and public spaces, to uphold brand standards.
REQUIRED SKILLS
• AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma
• At least 1 year of closely related experience
• Strong communication, customer service and management skills.
