With an expanding network of retail locations across major cities in Australia, we are continuing to strengthen our market presence and develop new commercial opportunities across both retail and business sectors.

As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to identify new growth opportunities, support sales increase, develop strategic business relationships and support the ongoing expansion of the Phone Planet brand.

About the Role

The role will focus on improving current sales strategies, identifying new markets and commercial opportunities, building relationships with clients, and supporting the continued expansion of our products, services and retail network.

What you do

Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and customer acquisition.

Establishing sales objectives and monitoring performance across retail and B2B markets.

Analyzing sales trends, customer demand, and competitor activity to identify market opportunities and support commercial decisions.

Planning and coordinating marketing campaigns, promotional activities and product launches across retail and digital channels.

Reviewing product performance and providing recommendations on product mix, pricing, promotions, and market positioning.

Identifying and developing new B2B opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and commercial partners.

Identifying opportunities to expand into new customer segments and geographical markets.

Preparing sales forecasts and performance reports and providing recommendations to senior management.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

Relevant qualifications in Marketing, Business, Commerce, Management or a related discipline is preferred

Demonstrated experience in sales and marketing management or a similar commercial role.

Proven ability to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies.

Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills.

Tracked experiences in improving sales performance and branding

Experience in retail, telecommunications, consumer electronics or a related industry will be highly regarded
