Job Overview

Job Description

1) Review daily production plans, arrange manpower and machines, ensure production output and stock levels follow MPS, and monitor weekly Output vs. MPS achievement.

2) Control Work-in-Progress (WIP), prepare and arrange production materials, and participate in monthly stock take activities.

3) Plan and monitor productivity, production efficiency, and scrap rate to achieve production targets.

4) Monitor production quality and abnormalities, conduct CC/QC line audits, follow up customer findings, and support corrective-action closure.

5) Follow up production and shipment status to ensure customer delivery requirements are met.

6) Resolve production issues faced by FSO/supervisors, investigate abnormalities, escalate major issues to HOD, and coordinate corrective actions.

7) Work closely with Planning, Quality, Engineering, Warehouse, HR and other relevant departments to resolve issues and achieve production objectives.

8) Arrange manpower and shift rotation, monitor operator discipline and attendance, supervise employees, and support counselling, rewards and disciplinary activities.

9) Conduct/participate in daily production meetings, prepare production reports and Monday briefing materials, and update HOD on abnormalities and major tasks.

10) Participate in interviews for new hires when required and support the management of production personnel.

11) Follow up customer findings and coordinate internally to ensure customer-related corrective actions are closed effectively.

12) Complete additional assignments given by the HOD and provide support to other departments when required.

Requirements:

Degree related to Manufacturing / Production / Industrial Engineering is highly preferred.
Minimum 2 to 3 years related working experience in manufacturing environment
Basic understanding of 5S, Kaizen, waste reduction and continuous improvement.
Knowledge of production KPIs such as Output vs MPS, productivity, scrap rate, downtime, yield and efficiency.
