General Production Operative

• Location: Rawtenstall
• Pay Rate: 12.71 per hour + accrued holiday pay (weekly pay)
• Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm Temporary ongoing

NW Recruitment Services Ltd are exclusively in partnership with and recruiting a General Production Operatives on behalf of one of our manufacturing clients based in Rawtenstall. Immediate starts available for suitable candidates.

The role:

Working within the production department, you will be responsible for operating alongside semi-automatic production equipment to ensure products are processed, finished and prepared for dispatch. The role is repetitive in nature and requires a good level of concentration, consistency and attention to detail throughout the working day.

Duties will include:

• Working alongside semi-automatic production machinery.
• Completing repetitive production tasks to a consistent standard.
• Checking finished products for quality before packaging.
• Packing products safely and securely for distribution.
• Stacking completed boxes onto pallets.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area.
• Following production schedules and company procedures.
• Working as part of a supportive production team.

Working hours:
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
• Morning and afternoon breaks provided
• 30-minute unpaid lunch break

Candidate requirements:
• Previous manufacturing, warehouse or production experience (preferred but not essential).
• Are comfortable carrying out repetitive tasks throughout the shift. • Have good attention to detail.
• Are reliable with excellent timekeeping.
• Can work efficiently whilst maintaining quality standards.
• Have good physical stamina and are comfortable with manual handling duties.
• Can work both independently and as part of a team.

The site is accessible by public transport; however, due to shift times and local transport availability, access to your own transport is preferred.
