Job Summary
Japan Autoparts Ltd is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to support the growth of the business by identifying new commercial opportunities, developing strong customer relationships, and expanding the company's presence within the automotive parts industry. The successful candidate will work closely with management to increase sales, build strategic partnerships, and contribute to the company's long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase sales and market share.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations to prospective clients.
Negotiate commercial terms and close business agreements.
Manage customer accounts and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
Attend trade shows, networking events, and business meetings to promote the company's products.
Maintain accurate sales records and prepare regular performance reports.
Achieve agreed sales targets and contribute to the overall business development strategy.
Person Specification
Essential:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
At least 2 years' experience in business development, sales, or account management.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong commercial awareness and analytical abilities.
Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Desirable:
Experience within the automotive parts or automotive industry.
Knowledge of UK automotive aftermarket trends and customer networks.
Full UK driving licence.

37.5 hours per week
Monday to Friday
Salary: 39,000 43,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
